Ridetech 12287199 Bolt-On 4-Link for 1961-1965 Falcon.

If you want to drive your Ford Falcon, as in REALLY drive it, you will quickly find the limits of the suspension system that was designed for 13 in. tires and 95HP.  We chose to fix the rear suspension in much the same way we have done on many muscle cars originally equipped with leaf springs… swap in a 4-link.  This rear bolt-on 4-link suspension system completely transforms the little Ford Falcon into a world class handling machine, and at the same time provides an incredible smooth ride and bind free operation. 

This Ridetech 4-Link System is specifically designed for the 1961-1965 Ford Falcon and is for use with Coil-overs or ShockWave air suspension (sold separately). Replacing the leaf springs with a 4-Link dramatically improves ride quality, traction and handling, while offering an adjustable stance at 1”-3” lower than stock. Instead of a wallowing soft ride, you’ll experience a crisp, controlled ride that will inspire confidence. The 4-Link design offers more precise positioning of the rear axle, eliminates axle wrap (wheel hop) and increases stability through the corners with optimized roll center height and anti-squat.

The lower bars attach to the OEM leaf spring mounts with a reinforced bracket and to the axle with weld-on brackets. A stout tubular cradle bolts between the frame rails creating attachment points for the upper bars and shocks. No cutting or fabrication to your prized muscle car, four small tabs that are welded to the axle to attach the upper bars. The patented R-Joint rod ends combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is as home on the street as it is on the racetrack! This system includes double adjustable four link bars with right-hand and left-hand threaded R-Joints for easy adjustments!
