JKS has improved on an already proven design from APEX Chassis. It’s no secret that APEX Chassis makes high-quality steering components for Jeeps and trucks, and JKS was able to take the design a step further by reconfiguring the drag link end to gain an additional 1 inch of bump travel. Moving the drag link to the top of the knuckle helps correct steering geometry on lifted Jeep Wrangler JL builds, reducing bump steer while providing additional clearance and suspension travel.

Built for the demands of serious off-road use, the 2.5-ton drag link features a forged solid steel housing with hot-forged chromoly ball studs for exceptional strength and durability. The Flopper Stopper design limits unwanted joint rotation while allowing 27 degrees of side-to-side movement and just 2 degrees of front-to-back movement without the need for poly pucks. Gull-wing grease grooves help distribute grease evenly around the ball stud, while easily accessible zerks make routine lubrication simple. The result is a heavy-duty steering solution that combines improved geometry, increased bump travel, and precise steering feel with the proven strength of the APEX Chassis design.
