Important notes before you order
- Will fit SRW
- Will ONLY fit crew cab short bed (6.5ft), will NOT fit standard cab, extended cab, or models with 8ft beds
- Fits 0-6" of rear lift
- Fits 4" Rear Axle Models Only
- When combining these traction bars with a 6.5” suspension lift kit and your truck does NOT have a top mounted overload (BDS753 kit variants), 15.5” long U-bolts are provided. Longer U-bolts will be needed to install the traction bars. Please purchase UBT4200 (X4) to mount the traction bars to your vehicle.

Overview
Improve traction on your 2020-2026 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD without limiting wheel travel with a BDS Recoil Traction Bar Mounting Kit, made with heavy wall construction and internal compression springs that can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. Full float design for bind-free performance and can be installed with a range of lift heights.
Fabricated from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC-machined end at the frame. Axle mount uses BDS's ultra-durable large-forged flex end and jam nut. Using a forged housing with large 1-1/4-nch x 12 threaded shank, a single sided snap ring and 1-piece flex ball, the flex ends are capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end the bar uses a durometer specific polyurethane bushing and free floats in the traction bar utilizing a pair of dual stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings.
